UNLV Looks For 2-0 Start Tuesday Against Cougars.. …

UNLV is going for a 2-0 start for the third straight year when it hosts the Houston Cougars on Tuesday night at 6 pm in the Cox Pavilion. Head coach Kathy Olivier is buying popcorn for the first 100 fans to tonight's game, and tickets are $8, or $5 if bought online at UNLVTickets.com, while kids 12 and under are free at UNLV women's basketball games. Tuesday's contest is a rematch of a game won last year in Houston by the Lady Rebels after trailing by 12 points in the game. Junior guards Dakota Gonzalez, Nikki Wheatley and Brooke Johnson combined for 50 of UNLV's 63 points as it rallied for the road victory.
