Lady Rebels Host Air Force On Wednesday Evening

UNLV and Air Force will tip-off on Wednesday, Jan. 20 at 6:30 p.m. PT at The Pavilion

LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV Lady Rebels remain on home court for the next Mountain West game as Air Force comes to town on Wednesday, Jan. 21. The Lady Rebels and Falcons will tip-off at The Pavilion at 6:30 p.m. PT.
 
ABOUT AIR FORCE: UNLV is 53-5 all-time against Air Force and have won 25 games straight against the Falcons. In the first meeting this season, the Lady Rebels defeated the Falcons 64-58 on their home court. Air Force heads into Wednesday's contest with an 8-10 overall record and a 2-6 MW record. The Falcons are coming off a 67-44 loss to Wyoming on Jan. 17. Air Force is led by Milahnie Perry's 16.8 points per game and Jayda McNabb's 8.0 rebounds per game, respectively.

TICKETS: Tickets are $6 when purchased in advance online at UNLVTickets.com. General admission tickets at the door are $10 ($8 for seniors, UNLV faculty/staff and alumni). UNLV students and Nevada high school students (presenting student ID) as well as all children 12 and under enter free.
 
LAST TIME ON THE COURT:  The UNLV Lady Rebels fell 75-66 to San Diego State in overtime on Saturday afternoon at The Pavilion. The Scarlet & Gray still hold the overall series 42-31 and still hold a 10-3 record under head coach Lindy La Rocque over the Aztecs. Four different Lady Rebels scored in double-digits and were led by Aaliyah Alexander's 18 points. Alexander shot 7-for-13 from the field, was 1-for-2 from long range and was a perfect 3-for-3 from the charity stripe. Shelbee Brown and Jasmyn Lott each had 13 points on the day. Shelbee Brown led the squad in rebounds with eight and was tied for the team-lead in steals with two. Mariah Elohim scored 11 points, while shooting 4-for-9 from the field and was 3-for-6 from the three.
 
SQUAD LEADERS: Meadow Roland leads the Scarlet & Gray in points per game, averaging 13.6 and she is the second-leading rebounder bringing down 8.9 boards per game. Jasmyn Lott is second on the team with 13.1 points per game and second in made field goals with 5.1 per game. Aaliyah Alexander leads the Lady Rebels in assists per game with 3.2. Alexander is also the third leading scorer on the squad, averaging 10.8 points per game. Shelbee Brown leads the squad in rebounds with 10.3 per game and is fourth in points per game with 10.0.
 
NON-CONFERENCE WRAP: The Lady Rebels wrapped up non-conference play with a 5-5 overall record. UNLV's wins came against Washington State, DePaul, Creighton in the rematch of the 2023 NCAA First round, Northern Iowa and UTSA.
 
4X MOUNTAIN WEST REGULAR SEASON CHAMPS: The Lady Rebels continued to rise last season becoming the first Mountain West team since 2017 to collect four straight regular season titles. UNLV made a trip to the Women's Basketball Invitational Tournament (WBIT) and collected the first postseason victory in over two decades. The Scarlet & Gray claimed the league's Coach of the Year in Lindy La Rocque and Freshman and Sixth Player of the Year for the second straight year with Meadow Roland.
 
WHAT UP SQUAD?: The Lady Rebels return five of the 13 players from their 2025 championship team, including starter Aaliyah Alexander and Mountain West Sixth and Freshman of the Year Meadow Roland. UNLV welcomes nine new players, which includes graduate students Shelbee Brown and Destiny Leo, seniors Destiny Brown and Mariah Elohim, juniors Ongolea Afu and Sydni Summers and freshmen Trystan James, Hodaya Kabada and Alexis Swillis.
 
UP NEXT: The Scarlet & Gray will be back on the road for the next Mountain West contest, visiting in-state rival UNR on Saturday, Jan. 24 at 1 p.m. This game is part of the Silver State Series presented by America First.
