UNLV is coming off its best performance of the season when the team finished second in its own tournament, the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown. The annual tournament at the Rebels' home course of Boulder Creek Golf Club took place Oct. 23-25 and was shortened from three rounds to two due to weather. The Scarlet and Gray sunk six birdies in the final three holes to jump from fifth to second with a 17-under 559, with all five members finishing under par for the first time this season. Alexandra Kaui and Harley Dubsky were UNLV's top-two team finishers after they tied for 10th with a 5-under 139. Playing individually, sophomore Alyssa Getty shot a 66 in the final round to finish in a tie for sixth with a 6-under 138.

The Rebels will compete in the first annual Trinity Forest Invitational hosted by No. 32 SMU. The tournament will be conducted over two days, with rounds one and two on Monday, Nov. 7 and the final round on Tuesday, Nov. 8.

THE LINEUP: The Rebels lineup for the Trinity Forest Invitational is senior Alexandra Kaui, junior Mackenzie Raim, sophomore Elizabeth Prior, junior Harley Dubsky and sophomore Alyssa Getty. Getty is competing in her first tournament as a scoring team member this season.

THE FIELD: The 2016 Trinity Forest Golf Club will be represented by a field of 14 teams including host No. 32 SMU -- seven of which are ranked in the top-50 of Golfstat's rankings. Joining the Mustangs and the Rebels will be Houston, No. 21 Baylor, No. 46 Michigan, No. 45 Kansas State, UTSA, No. 22 Texas A&M, Kansas, No. 30 Texas Tech, No. 25 Ohio State, Memphis, Tulsa and Mississippi State.
