LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV men's tennis team is now 3-0 against Montana after defeating the Grizzlies 6-1 Saturday at the Fertitta Tennis Complex.

With the win, the Rebels improved to 7-6 while the Grizzlies fell to 3-6.

UNLV won two doubles matches to secure the team point. Adam Gage-Brown and Evaldo Neto forged a 6-1 win against Semion Branzburg and Victor Casadevall at the second position; while Alexandr Cozbinov and Richard Solberg doubled up on Tomasz Soltyka and Petar Barcot 6-3 at the bottom of the lineup.

In singles, the hosts swept at positions one, three, five, and six and took a tiebreaker on court two.

Jakob Amilon downed Branzburg 6-3, 7-6 at No. 1; Cozbinov outlasted Yannick Schmidl 3-6,6-0,1-0(10-8) at No. 2; Ruben Alberts broke away from Alexander Canellopolos 6-3, 6-0 at No. 3; Neto defeated Soltyka 6-4, 6-4 at No. 5; and Solberg finished off Barcot 6-1, 6-3 on court six.

Next up, UNLV will travel to California to continue conference play against Fresno State.
