April 29, 2016 LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - Four additional UNLV football games have been officially picked up by national television outlets as the Mountain West released the remainder of its national TV package Friday.
Two Rebel games were selected by CBS Sports Network and two more by ESPN Networks. Those were in addition to the UNLV at Boise State game on Friday, Nov. 18 that had already been announced for an ESPN2 pickup.
All of the latest broadcast selections will be Saturday games. The Fresno State at UNLV matchup on Oct. 1 will begin at 7:30 p.m. PT and be televised by CBSSN. One week later, the Rebels’ trip to San Diego State will be shown by an ESPN channel with the specific outlet and kick time released as part of the contracted 12-day window. UNLV’s visit to San Jose State on Oct. 29 will be another 7:30 p.m. start on CBSSN while the regular-season finale against Nevada, Reno – the Battle for the Fremont Cannon – will be another 12-day window announcement for one of the ESPN Networks, which include ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN3, ESPNews and ESPN Classic.
Additional broadcasts by ROOT SPORTS, the Mountain West Network powered by Campus Insiders and Oceanic Time Warner Cable will be announced in the coming weeks as will TV information for UNLV’s non-conference road games at UCLA and Central Michigan.
