CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. (UNLVRebels.com) - UNLV junior Alexandra Kaui earned Women's Golf Coaches Association All-Stanford Regional honors, the WGCA announced on Tuesday.

Kaui was one of 10 golfers recognized from the Stanford Regional. She finished tied for ninth place at 2-over 215 (73-70-72), which was played at the Stanford Golf Course.

Kaui won this year's Mountain West Championship at 4-under 212 (72-71-69). Her four best finishes, all in the top ten, came in the last six tournaments, including a tie for fourth at Bison at Boulder Creek II and fifth place in the DAC/SMU Invitational.

The WGCA also named it All-Region teams for the Shoal Creek, Bryan and Baton Rouge Regionals.

The Women's Golf Coaches Association, founded in 1983, is a non-profit organization representing women's collegiate golf coaches. The WGCA was formed to encourage the playing of college golf for women in correlation with a general objective of education and in accordance with the highest tradition of intercollegiate competition.
