LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - UNLV junior wide receiver Devonte Boyd was named to the official Mountain West Football All-Conference Team for the second consecutive season as the league announced this year's list to open its annual media days on Tuesday at the Cosmopolitan Hotel.

Boyd, out of Henderson's Basic High School, made it a clean sweep for the preseason nods as he was previously on the teams released by every popular preseason publication. His inclusion means that UNLV has had a receiver make the league's official preseason team for the third straight season and for the eighth time in the last 10 years (former Rebel greats Devante Davis, Phillip Payne and Ryan Wolfe were the others during that span).

Also a member of the Biletnikoff Award Watch List, Boyd has caught at least one pass in all 25 games of his career and piled up more receiving yards through a sophomore season than any Rebel in history with 1,884. Boyd, who posted five 100-yard receiving games last fall, also became the third UNLV player to reach 900 yards in more than one season when he finished with 54 catches for 904 yards and seven touchdowns in 2015.

Boyd and a teammate from the UNLV defensive side of the ball, senior linebacker Ryan McAleenan, will meet with the media here during the MW West Division's designated times on Wednesday.
