Sept. 11, 2016 CLAREMONT, Calif. (UNLVRebels.com) - UNLV tennis junior Alexandr Cozbinov rallied to defeat American Joseph Digulio on Sunday to remain alive at the Claremont USTA Pro Classic.
Cozbinov lost the first set, 5-7, but then took the next two, 6-1, 7-5, to advance.
It was the Moldova native's third singles win in as many days at the futures event.
Two of his Rebel teammates â€" senior Jakob Amilon and transfer Courtney Lock -- made it into the second round but were eliminated on Saturday.
