PROVO, Utah (UNLVRebels.com) - Both of UNLV's singles entries remaining in the main draw fell in the Round of 32 Thursday at the 2017 USTA/ITA Mountain Region Men's Tennis Championships being played at BYU's Outdoor Courts.

Clayton Alenik lost to Denver's Sean Huynh, 6-2, 6-2, while Eric Samuelsson was downed by Carlos Longh Neto of Idaho, 4-6, 6-3, 6-3.

Members from 18 western teams are facing off as individuals through Saturday each day in both singles and doubles.
