TULSA, Okla. (UNLVRebels.com) - UNLV senior Alexandr Cozbinov rallied for a three-set victory in the singles consolation draw at the 2017 St. Francis ITA Men's Tennis All-American Championships being hosted at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
Cozbinov lost the opening set but came back to down Texas Tech's Artem Kapshuk, 2-6, 7-5, 6-3, to advance.
Cozbinov will next face Georgia's Nathan Ponwith, ranked 32nd nationally and seeded 5-8 in this event, during Saturday's Round of 16.
