SANTA CLARA, Calif. (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV men's tennis team fell 4-0 in a road match with Santa Clara Sunday afternoon at the Degheri Tennis Center.
The Rebels dropped to 4-2 on the year while the Broncos improved to 6-1.
Doubles started the match and were hotly contested. However, UNLV ultimately fell 7-6 (5) at No.1 and lost 6-4 on court two as the Broncos took a 1-0 lead.
In singles, four Rebels won at least one set but three of those matches -- all with UNLV leading -- were halted when Santa Clara clinched the overall victory.
Next up, UNLV will continue on the road by returning to California next weekend to face Hawaii and Loyola Marymount on Saturday.
