THE WOODLANDS, Texas (UNLVRebels.com) - UNLV Women's Golf finished out the month of February with a 12th-place finish at University of Houston's "The Dickson" tournament at The Woodlands Country Club just outside of Houston, Texas. The Rebels entered Tuesday's final round in 13th place after carding a score of 18-over 594 through 36 holes on Monday, then shot a 15-over 303 over the final 18 for a three-round score of 33-over 897.

The top performer for the Rebels was sophomore Elizabeth Prior, who went into Tuesday's round tied for 28th and ended the day in a tie for 29th with a total score of 5-over 221. Junior Mackenzie Raim also held steady in a tie for 47th after her third-round score of 4-over 76 brought her tournament total to 9-over 225. Fellow junior Harley Dubsky came in three shots behind Raim with a 54-hole score of 12-over 228, good for 58th place, while senior Alexandra Kaui was one shot behind Dubsky at 13-over 229 after shooting her best round of the tournament at 1-over 73. Alyssa Getty rounded things out, carding a final score of 14-over 230.

No. 3 Florida State began the day with a 15-shot lead after carding a 22-under in Monday's first two rounds, and while the Seminoles only shot 1-over as a team on Tuesday, the cushion they built was more than enough to win it all as they were the only team to finish under par (21-under 843) for the tournament. No. 10 Kent State jumped up to second place with a 3-over 863, followed by TCU, who moved up four spots to take third with a 4-over 868. Texas A&M and Texas Tech filled out the top five with scores of 5-over 869 and 8-over 872, respectively.

The 10th and 21st ranked players in the country -- Florida State's Morgane Metraux and Texas A&M's Maddie Szeryk -- were tied at 9-under after 36 holes, but it was Metraux who made the push in the final round to take medalist honors, finishing with a 14-under 202 with three straight rounds at 69 or better. Szeryk held on to second finishing at 8-under 208, with SMU's Brigitte Dunne in third (6-under 210), Tulsa's Greta Bruner in fourth (5-under 211) and UTSA's Nikki Long and Kent State's Pimnipa Panthong tied for fifth at 4-under 212.

The Rebels have a weekend off before heading to Tucson, Arizona for for the Mountain View Invitational March 10-12.
