LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV men's basketball team will host Utah State on Wednesday night at 8 p.m. at the Thomas & Mack Center in its regular-season home finale. It will also be senior night as the Runnin' Rebels will honor senior forward Tyrell Green, senior forward Christian Jones and senior guard Uche Ofoegbu prior to the national anthem.
The game will be televised on ESPNU and will mark the second meeting between the Aggies and UNLV, as Utah State won 79-63 on Jan. 7 in Logan, Utah.
Wednesday night will also be Fan Appreciation Night. Tickets are being sold at 50 percent off - select upper and lower bowl (UNLVtickets.com/promo with code FAN). In addition, free t-shirts are being given away to the first 4,000 fans, a free commemorative senior poster will be given out to the first 2,000 fans and there will also be special in-game giveaways.
UNLV is led in scoring by junior guard Jovan Mooring (12.4 ppg), who is one of four Runnin' Rebels averaging in double figures. Jones leads the team in rebounding (6.4 rpg), while Mooring also is tops in assists (4.0 apg, 2nd in MW).
