LUBBOCK, Texas (UNLVRebels.com) - UNLV Women's Golf shot a 23-over in round two Tuesday at The Rawls Course in Lubbock, Texas, dropping the Rebels from 10th place to 14th at 36-over after two complete rounds. Sophomore Alyssa Getty turned in the top score of the day for the Rebels, carding a 3-over 75, while senior Alexandra Kaui is the highest Rebel on the leaderboard in a tie for 49th with a two-round score of 9-over (153).

Junior Mackenzie Raim and senior Harley Dubsky started the day in a tie for 16th after each shooting a 2-over in the opening round Monday. Tuesday's rounds didn't go quite as well for either as Raim shot an 8-over to move to 10-over overall and tied for 56th and Dubsky recorded a 10-over on day two to drop into a tie for 68th at 12-over. Sophomore Elizabeth Prior carded a 7-over on Tuesday after a 5-over on Monday to sit tied with Dubsky at 12-over heading into Wednesday's final round. Kaui had the second-lowest score on the day for UNLV at 5-over.

After holding a one stroke lead after the first round, seventh-ranked Arizona State ran away from the rest of the field Tuesday with an impressive 11-under 277 to take a 12-shot lead into Wednesday. The Sun Devils are also the only team to be under par at 6-under after 36 holes. Thanks to a second round team score of 2-under, regional host Texas Tech jumped from third to second at 6-over, followed by Oregon and No. 10 Furman one shot behind in a tie for third at 7-over, with Furman recording the second-best team score of the day at 5-under. Rounding out the top six who are currently in position to move onto the NCAA Championships are No. 18 Texas at 13-over and No. 15 Kent State at 16-over. The region's top-seed, UCLA, is also at 16-over, but due to tiebreakers would not move forward if the tournament had ended Tuesday.

Individually, ASU's Monica Vaughn went from tied for fourth to first after a 4-under in round two took her to 5-under overall. She's holding a two-shot lead over BYU's Alex White and Furman's Haylee Harford. Three players - Texas' Sophia Schubert, UCLA's Lilia Vu and Kent State's Pimnipa Panthong - are all tied for fourth at 2-under, so the individual championship is still very much up for grabs.

The Rebels will tee off in the final round starting at 8 a.m. again. Getty is scheduled for 8 a.m., followed by Prior at 8:10 a.m., Kaui at 8:20 a.m., Dubsky at 8:30 a.m. and Raim at 8:40 a.m. All times are in central time.
