LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV men's tennis team defeated the Air Force Falcons 4-3 Friday at the Fertitta Tennis Center.

The Rebels improved to 12-7 overall and 2-2 in the league.

The Rebels had to make a comeback as Air Force won two of three doubles matches. UNLV, however, picked up four wins in singles to end their lead.

REBEL OF THE MATCH: Richard Solberg teamed with Clayton Alenik for a 6-4 doubles win on court three and then defeated Paul Hendrix 7-6, 3-6, 6-3 in singles play. Solberg clinched the win with his singles win.

QUOTABLE: "Air Force outplayed us in the doubles. Singles did not look good, but our upperclassmen stepped up and we managed to get the win."

NEXT FOR THE REBELS: UNLV closes out its home schedule Sunday by hosting New Mexico starting at 11 a.m. The team's three seniors will be honored before the match.
