UNLV And BYU Announce Future Football Series

LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV football program will play another non-conference home-and-home series with longtime rival BYU, the schools announced Monday.

The Rebels will travel to Provo, Utah, for a game Nov. 4, 2023, while the Cougars will come to Las Vegas Nov. 2, 2024.

"UNLV has a long history with BYU and geographically it's a perfect matchup for both schools," said UNLV Director of Athletics Desiree Reed-Francois. "We continue working to offer our fans an attractive set of non-conference opponents for our move into the state-of-the-art Las Vegas Stadium."

The Rebels are currently scheduled to play non-conference games at home against Cal (2020 and '26), Arizona State (2020), Iowa State (2021), Vanderbilt (2023) and UCLA (2025).

UNLV and BYU have played each other 20 times since the first meeting took place 40 years ago in Japan in 1978. Since the Cougars left the Mountain West, the programs have met twice, including last season in Las Vegas.

UNLV opens the 2018 season September 1 at USC. The home opener is September 8 vs. UTEP. Season tickets are on sale now starting at only $99 for all six home games. Three-game and group ticket packages are also available with Eat All You Can Plans for as low as $79 per ticket. UNLV has also introduced the Better Seats Promise. Ticket plan holders are guaranteed better seats than single-game purchasers. Other season ticket packages include faculty & staff, alumni and groups.
