Runnin' Rebels Host Robert Morris Saturday Afternoon

UNLV continues five-game homestand with 12 p.m. start at the Thomas & Mack Center.

LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV men's basketball team will continue its five-game homestand on Saturday, Dec. 21 at 12 p.m. vs. Robert Morris. 

Fans are encouraged to bring new or gently used stuffed animals to take part in a Teddy Bear Toss at halftime. Stuffed animals will be donated to kids at UMC Children's Hospital. Tickets to the game start at just $13 when purchased in advance at UNLVtickets.com, by calling 702-739-FANS (3267) or by visiting the Thomas & Mack Center Box Office.

UNLV (4-8) returned to the Thomas & Mack Center for the first time in 22 days on Wednesday, falling to Pacific (74-66). The Runnin' Rebels were out of their home building for so long because of the National Finals Rodeo.

Junior guard Amauri Hardy leads four UNLV players averaging in double-figure scoring with 17.1 points per game (6th in MW), while junior forward Mbacke Diong is the team's leading rebounder with 9.6 per contest (5th in MW, 40th in nation). UNLV is under new leadership this year in head coach T.J. Otzelberger.

Robert Morris (4-8) is in its 10th year under head coach Andrew Toole. The Colonials have won two straight games and are coming off an 83-79 home win over Central Michigan Tuesday. Josh Williams is the team's leading scorer (13.7 ppg) and AJ Bramah is its leader in rebounding (8.0 rpg).

Saturday's game will be streamed live on UNLVRebels.com/Mountain West Network with Tony Cordasco and former Runnin' Rebel Donovan Stewart calling the action.
