UNLV Game Notes
♦ UNLV comes into the game alone in fifth place in the Mountain West, while the Cowgirls are in third place, half a game behind of New Mexico and half a game ahead of Fresno State.
♦ The Lady Rebels have been strong on their home courts the past three conference seasons, going 27-6 in league play (23-5 in the Cox Pavilion, 4-0 in the Thomas & Mack Center). That includes last season's 8-1 home record, with the lone loss by two-point on a last second trey. This year they are 5-1 in Las Vegas in league play, with the setback coming at the hands of league-leading Boise State (64-57).
♦ UNLV has won its last three games against the Cowgirls in Las Vegas, while the last win for Wyoming came in the 2012-13 season. In both 2014-15 and 2017-18, the teams played each other only once during the season, and both games were on the Cowgirls' home court.
♦ UNLV is 7-4 when holding teams under 60 points this season, and 2-11 when giving up over 60 points a game.
♦ A strength for UNLV in MW play has been its bench play. The Lady Rebels are averaging 23.0 ppg off the bench, compared to 17.5 ppg by their opponents.
