LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV women's golf team wrapped up its second annual Rebel Beach Invitational Tuesday at Spanish Trail Country Club, finishing the tournament in second place at 18-over. The Rebels have fared well in the home tournament they co-host with Long Beach State as the second place finish comes a year after they won the inaugural event last season.

Elizabeth Prior sat alone in first place at tournament's end, blowing out the field with a seven shot win at 7-under 209. The Surrey, England, native birdied five of her final eight holes Tuesday, including three of her final four, to shoot her second 68 of the tournament and her third 68 in her last six rounds.

Shannon Oh both finished in the top 13, with Mack tying for ninth at 6-over 222 and Oh tying for 13th at 8-over 224. Senior
Alyssa Getty was the next highest finisher in a tie for 32nd at 14-over 230 followed by
Cathy Liu, who was playing as an individual, in a tie for 39th at 16-over. Freshman
Veronica Joels rounded things out in tie for 59th at 20 over.
Arizona picked up the team title, finishing four shots in front of UNLV at 14-over, while Virginia (+28), Oregon (+31) and San Jose State (+34) completed the top five.
REBEL OF THE DAY: Prior turned in her best three-round performance of her senior season to win her second straight tournament and the fourth of her career. She was also the only one to finish with a 54-hole under par score at the event.
NEXT UP FOR THE REBELS: The Rebels will complete a three-week stretch of tournaments next week at Long Beach State's Gold Rush event, which take place Monday Feb. 25 and Tuesday Feb. 26 in Long Beach, California .
