LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) -  UNLV women's golf will be back in action for the spring season this week, playing in the two-day Battle at Boulder Creek tournament Monday, February 11 and Tuesday, February 12. The event will take place at a familiar course, Boulder Creek Golf Club, where the Rebels host their annual fall tournament, the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown, out in Boulder City, Nevada.
The Rebels played in four fall tournaments, with their highest finish coming at the Showdown - a 6th place finish at 1-under after a fall-best single-round score of 5-under on the final day. Reigning Mountain West Player of the Year sophomore
Polly Mack had UNLV's lowest 54-hole score and best tournament finish of the fall, carding 3-under at the Showdown and tying for 15th at the Dick McGuire/Branch Law Firm in New Mexico to open the year.
After the Battle at Boulder Creek this week, UNLV will remain in Las Vegas as they co-host the Rebel Beach Invitational with Long Beach State and Spanish Trail Country Club, Feb. 18 & 19.
