UNLV Game Notes Â
♦ The Lady Rebels are currently alone in fifth place in the conference with two games left to play. UNLV can clinch the fifth seed in the MW Tournament with either a win in its last two games (at Boise State, home vs Colorado State), or a loss by Utah State in either of its last two games (at UNR, home against Colorado State). The top-five teams in the final conference standings all receive a bye on the first day of the conference tournament, while the bottom six will play in the opening round on March 10.
♦ The road team holds the advantage in the all-time series between UNLV and the Broncos. The Lady Rebels are 4-3 all-time in Boise, while the Broncos are 6-5 in 11 games played in Las Vegas
♦ UNLV is in the midst of a three-game stretch against teams it lost to earlier in the season. The Lady Rebels already avenged the first of those losses with Wednesday's 67-58 win over UNR. Now UNLV is looking to even the season series with Boise State after falling 64-57 in Las Vegas.
♦ UNLV is 10-4 when holding teams under 60 points this season, and 1-12 when giving up over 60 points a game.
♦ A strength for UNLV in MW play has been its bench play. The Lady Rebels are averaging 22.8 ppg off its bench, compared to 17.1 ppg by its opponents.
