TUCSON, Ariz. (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV men's golf team shot rounds of 6-under-par 282 and 13-under 275 Monday during the first day of the National Invitational Tournament, which is being played at OMNI Tucson National (par 72, 7,200 yards).
The Rebels, who are in fourth place, have a 36-hole total of 19-under 557, 14 shots behind tournament-leading No. 4 Arizona State. The Sun Devils are at 33-under. No. 7 USC is second at 27-under, No. 5 Oklahoma is third at 20-under, while New Mexico rounds out the top five at 18-under.
Individually, USC's Justin Suh holds a two-shot lead at 14-under 130 after rounds of 6-under 66 and 8-under 64. Arizona's Trevor Werbylo is second at 12-under. He shot a tournament-low 10-under 62 during the second round. The Rebels were paced by senior Harry Hall, who is tied for fourth at 10-under.
REBEL OF THE DAY: Hall had rounds of 6-under 66 and 4-under 68 on Monday. He had a bogey-free round with six birdies during the first 18 holes, then five birdies and a bogey during the second round. Over his 36 holes, Hall recorded a total of 11 birdies.

Chris Ebster is competing in that and is 17th in the 21-player event at 6-over 146 (74-72). ASU's Cameron Sisk leads at 9-under.

• Trent is coming off his first career individual victory as he won the Southern Highlands Collegiate on March 5 in Las Vegas. The win earned him an exemption into the PGA Tour's Shriners Hospitals for Children Open in October. The win also earned him Co-Mountain West Men's Golfer of the Week honors.
• UNLV is the three-time defending Mountain West champions.
• Last year's team also finished third at the NCAA Regional in Columbus, Ohio, and placed in the top 20 at the NCAA Championship.
• Trent earned the Mountain West Freshman of the Year award last season, while Harry Hall and Trent were both recognized as All-MW performers.
• Hall was named a Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar in July.
• UNLV has played in a NCAA-record 30 straight regionals.
• This year marks head coach Dwaine Knight's 32nd season leading the Rebel program.
