AUSTIN, Texas (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV track & field program closed out the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays with three top-eight finishes Saturday. The Rebels'
Jasmyne Graham recorded a sixth-place finish in the 100m hurdles and ran the third leg of the 4x100m relay's sixth-place showing at the meet contested at the University of Mike A. Myers Stadium.
Graham ran a time of 13.31 in the 100m hurdles, and partnered with
Jada Hicks,
Kaysha Love and
Drea Austin to clock a time of 45.30 in the 4x100m relays.
Taylor Pegram finished eighth in the 100m hurdles, with a time of 13.52.
Mackenna Howard was 13th overall in the shot put (section A) with a throw of 48-6.75 (14.80m).
Previously, the Rebels got a second-place finish from
Avi'Tal Wilson-Perteete in Thursday's 800m Invitational as well as a third-place finish from
Cassidy Osborne-Butler in Friday's shot put (section B). Additionally, UNLV was seventh in the 1600m Sprint Medley Relay and 10th in the 4x400m relay Saturday.
NEXT TIME OUT: UNLV return home to host the Mountain West Challenge next Friday (April 5) at Myron Partridge Stadium & Sheila Tarr-Smith Field. The Rebels face San Diego State and UNR in the triangular meet, which starts at 10:00 am with the hammer throw.
