UNLV Game Notes
♦ The Lady Rebels are currently in sixth place in the Mountain West standings at 9-8, behind Utah State who has finished its regular season at 10-8. A win over CSU would tie UNLV with the Aggies for fifth, and the tiebreaker would go to the Lady Rebels as they won the only meeting between the two schools this year, 77-56 in Las Vegas on Feb. 2.
♦ Thursday also marks the last home game in the Cox Pavilion for six Lady Rebel seniors: Alyssa Anderson, Jordyn Bell, Destiney Lee, Katie Powell, Paris Strawther and Nikki Wheatley.
♦ UNLV is 28-7 in league play (24-7 in the Cox Pavilion, 4-0 in the Thomas & Mack Center) over the past four seasons. That includes last season's school record 8-1 home mark.
♦ UNLV is in the midst of a three-game stretch against teams it lost to earlier in the season. The Lady Rebels already avenged the first of those losses with Wednesday's 67-58 win over UNR. Now UNLV is looking to even the season series with Colorado State after falling 52-49 on Jan. 2.
♦ UNLV is 10-5 when holding teams under 60 points this season, and 1-12 when giving up over 60 points a game.
♦ A strength for UNLV in MW play has been its bench play. The Lady Rebels are averaging 21.1 ppg off its bench, compared to 18.4 ppg by its opponents.
