LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV women's golf team will be back in action Sunday and Monday in Peoria, Arizona, for the Westbrook Invitational, hosted by the University of Wisconsin. The two-day 54-hole event will be played at the Westbrook Village Golf Club on the par 72, 6,252-yard Vistas Course. Play gets underway Sunday at 8:30 a.m.
The Rebels are coming off a ninth-place finish at the Rebel Beach Invitational, their home tournament co-hosted with Long Beach State at Spanish Trail Golf Club. Junior
Samantha Fuller was UNLV's top finisher in the event, coming in sixth at 2-under after rounds of 72, 72 and 70.
After the Westbrook Invite, the Rebels will have some time off before their next event when they return to Arizona for the Wildcat Invite in Tucson, March 9 & 10.
THE FIELD: The 2020 Westbrook Invitational features a total of 16 teams including host Wisconsin, College of Charleston, Denver, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas State, Mississippi State, Missouri, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Tennessee, UC Davis and UNLV.

RECENT FINISHES AT WESTBROOK: This the first time the Rebels will play in the Westbrook Invite since the 2015-16 season when they finished in fourth as a team at 1-under 863.
NOTABLE:
• UNLV has a new look with just two returners from last year's roster. Six new faces have joined the 2019-20 squad.
• Prior to the 2018-19 season, UNLV had won three straight Mountain West titles and made a NCAA postseason appearance in 16 consecutive years.
