TUCSON, Arizona (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV women's golf team finished out the Wildcat Invite Tuesday in 11th place after carding a three-round score of 49-over 913. The two-day, 54-hole tournament took place at Sewailo Golf Club in Tucson, Arizona.

Sophomore Veronica Joels was the Rebels' top finisher in a tie for 20th after shooting a final-round 2-over 74 for a tournament score of 6-over 222. Junior Samantha Fuller finished three strokes behind Joels at 9-over 225 to tie for 34th, while freshman Elina Saksa tied for 55th at 16-over 232. Freshmen Aliyah Williams, who was competing as an individual, and Dana Puyol each carded scores of 19-over 235 to tie for 58th, followed by Cathy Liu in 63rd at 22-over 238.

Denver took fourth at 9-over, followed by Fresno State at 17-over 881 to round out the top five.

Arizona captured four of the top five spots on the individual leaderboard with Kallie Vongsaga, who was playing as an individual, winning the tournament at 9-under 207. She edged out teammate Vivian Hou by one stroke with a third Wildcat, Gile Bite Starkute, and Fresno State's Brigitte Thibault, tying for third at five under. Another Wildcat, Hollie Muse, finished in fifth at 4-under 212.
