LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV men's tennis team won its second match of the day, this time 5-2 over Southern Utah, to close out a perfect weekend on Sunday evening at the Fertitta Tennis Complex.
 
UNLV improved to 13-1 on the season while the Thunderbirds dropped to 3-7.
 
For the second time Sunday the Rebels had to come back after losing the doubles point as the only UNLV win came on court three from Tom Ciszewski and Zach Garner.
 
In singles, the Rebels earned straight-set victories on five of six courts. At the top of the lineup, Alex Kobelt won 6-3, 6-1 over RJ Parker to improve his senior season record to 14-5 overall, including 7-2 in duals.
