LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV men's tennis team took the first match of a Saturday doubleheader with a 4-0 win over Montana at the Fertitta Tennis Complex. The Rebels will return to the courts later in the day against Weber State.
UNLV evened its season record at 2-2 while the Grizzlies fell to 1-3 on the young season.
The Rebels emerged victorious in a spirited doubles session to build a 1-0 lead. The teams split on the lower two courts before UNLV's top duo won a tiebreaker at the top of the lineup.
In singles, the hosts won the first set on five of six courts and then clinched it with straight-set victories by
Jordan Sauer on court two,
Milos Dabic on court three and
Anton Ornberg on court four. The remaining matches were halted.

Alex Kobelt sat out for the second straight day.
