LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - Fresh off its first tournament win in two years, the UNLV women's golf team will be back on the course this weekend as the Rebels head to the Lone Star State for Texas State's Jim West Invitational on Sunday and Monday. The two-day 54-hole event will take place at the Par 72, 6,287 yard course at the Kissing Tree Golf Club in San Marcos, Texas. As a special treat, both days will be streamed live on ESPN+ and cover holes 9, 13, 14 & 18. Coverage on Sunday begins at 11 a.m. CT and ends at the conclusion of the second round. The entire round on Monday will be covered beginning at 8:30 a.m. Subscription is required to view on ESPN+.
UNLV started the week by sweeping the team and individual titles at the 2021 Dale McNamara Invitational in Tulsa, Oklahoma. UNLV shot rounds of 289, 287 and 285 to finish as the only team under par and win the tournament by 11 strokes at 3-under. It was the Rebels' first tournament win since they won their home tournament, the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown, in 2019. Freshman
Sydney Bryan birdied her final hole to finish tied for first, earning co-medalist honors for her first collegiate victory after carding a three-round score of 4-under 212. Junior

Kendall Todd joined Bryan in the top six as Lorup finished tied for fourth at 2-under and Todd in a tie for sixth at 1-under.
After the trip to Texas UNLV will finish out the fall slate with a local tournament - The Clash at Boulder Creek hosted by Northern Arizona - Oct. 24 and 25 in Boulder City.
THE FIELD: The 2021 Jim West Invitational field features 15 teams: Florida State, Houston, Kent State, Miami, Missouri, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, TCU, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Texas State, Texas Tech, Tulsa and UNLV.
