Lady Rebels Face Falcons In Road Series

UNLV is currently fifth in the MW standings with two games to go.

LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - UNLV is putting its perfect road record on the line with a pair of games this weekend at Air Force in Colorado Springs. The Lady Rebels open the Mountain West series Friday at 5 pm (PT) and will play the second game Sunday with a 12 pm (PT) tip.

There will be a live video stream available on the Mountain West Network and UNLVRebels.com, while the radio broadcast, featuring Wyatt Tomchek as play-by-play and Mark Wasik as color analyst can also be accessed at UNLVRebels.com.

UNLV Game Notes

♦ The Lady Rebels remain in fourth place in the league standings, one game ahead of fifth place Boise State (5-5). The two teams will meet next week in Las Vegas on Feb. 10 and 11.
♦ UNLV has dominated the all-time series with the Falcons, as the Lady Rebels have more wins over Air Force then any other team in program history at 44-5. That includes a current 15-game win streak in the series for UNLV, as the last loss came on Jan. 12, 2013 in Colorado Springs.
♦ This will be just the third and fourth home games in league play for the Falcons. In their first home games, they upset Boise State by 24 points before falling by 22 points in the second game of the series.
♦  UNLV is one of the youngest and most inexperienced teams in the nation. The 11-player Lady Rebels roster is the sixth-youngest team in the nation with an average age of 19.5, while they are the only team in the nation with at least 90% of its roster that started the season with just one career total Division I start.
