LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV women's tennis team again could not overcome losing the doubles point and dropped a 4-1 decision to UTSA on Sunday morning at the Fertitta Tennis Complex.

The Rebels fell to 1-2 while the Roadrunners improved to 2-4.

UTSA took both completed doubles matches to earn the all-important 1-0 lead. In singles, the teams were setting up for a split among the six courts and the 'Runners got their required three points to clinch with straight-set wins on courts two, four and six.

REBEL OF THE MATCH: En-Pei Huang did not finish her doubles match before it was halted but was the first off the courts in singles play, shutting out Catalina Cabrique, 6-0, 6-0, on court three for her team's only point.

UP NEXT: UNLV is off until hosting Weber State at 10 a.m. on Feb. 18. At this time, no fans are allowed at the Fertitta Tennis Complex.
