MESA, Arizona (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV women's golf team will be right back in action this weekend, competing in Arizona State's Clover Cup tournament, March 12-14, at the Par 72, 6,184 yard course at Longbow Golf Club in Mesa, Arizona.
The Rebels stayed in Arizona this week after playing in Arizona's Wildcat Invite in Tucson on Monday and Tuesday. UNLV finished 11th overall, while senior
Samantha Fuller was the top finisher, taking ninth at 3-under 213. After a bogey-free first round of 2-under 70, Fuller entered the final round Tuesday at even and shot a 3-under 69 to match her single-round low as a Rebel. She sund 10 birdies over the three rounds. Junior
Veronica Joels was the Rebels' next highest finisher in a tie for 26th at 5-over 221 after an even round of 72 in the final round on Tuesday.
After the weekend, the Rebels will head back to Tucson for Kansas State's Mountain View Invitational, March 19-21
