CLOVIS, Calif. (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV track & field team sits third overall after two days of action at the 2021 Mountain West Outdoor Championships. The Rebels have accumulated 33 total points and only trail Colorado State and New Mexico who have racked up 74 and 43 points through seven events, respectively.
UNLV recorded 22 points alone in the long jump, as
Jonon Young and
Jazlynn Shearer finished 1-2 to claim 18 points. Young won the event behind a jump of 20-4.25 (6.20m), while Shearer was runner-up with a personal-best distance of 19-10.75 (6.06m). Additionally,
