FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV track & field team wrapped up its 2026 outdoor season this week at the NCAA West Regionals, hosted at John McDonnell Field on the campus of the University of Arkansas.
The Rebels were represented in three events during the regional competition, highlighted by a strong performance from the women's 4x100-meter relay team on Saturday. UNLV's relay quartet of Gabby Goodgames, Aly Winston, AnnaKay Maitland and Kaitlynn Webbe finished 14th overall (5th in Flight One) in a time of 44.69 seconds.
Earlier Saturday, senior Roxene Simpson competed in the women's discus throw and placed 24th overall with a mark of 50.99 meters (167 feet, 3 inches). The Scarlet & Gray opened competition Thursday with redshirt freshman hurdler Jaci Wright in the women's 100-meter hurdles. Wright crossed the finish line in 13.53 seconds to place 33rd overall.
