LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – Led by returning rusher Charles Williams, four UNLV players earned spots on the Athlon Sports 2021 Preseason All-Mountain West Football Team, which was announced Tuesday.

Williams (Bullard HS/Fresno, CA), who will be a Super Senior this fall while looking to become the Rebels' all-time leading rusher, was named to Athlon's second team; 2020 Freshman All-America receiver Kyle Williams (St. Monica Catholic HS/Hawthorne HS), who was the MW Freshman of the Year last season, is on the third team along with Super Senior offensive lineman Julio Garcia (Bishop Gorman HS/Las Vegas); and Jacoby Windmon (Ehret HS/New Orleans), who led the team in sacks as a sophomore before moving to inside linebacker during spring practice, is on the fourth team.

UNLV holds camp in August before kicking off the season by hosting Eastern Washington on a special Thursday opener on September 2.
