EUGENE, Oregon (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV track & field program's season came to an end Saturday at the 2021 NCAA Championships, which were held at the University of Oregon's Hayward Field. The Rebels had two of their own competing on the fourth and final day of the national meet, with Avi'Tal Wilson-Perteete and Cassondra Hall running in the 800m and 200m finals, respectively.
 
Wilson-Perteete clocked a season-best time of 2:02.85 in the 800m to score two points for the Scarlet & Gray. With Saturday's results, the junior from Oakland, California, has finished ninth or better in the past three NCAA Outdoor Championships, taking third in 2019 and ninth in 2018.
 
Hall, a senior from Warner Robins, Georgia, ran a time of 22.94 for ninth in the 200m. Two days ago, she finished 16th in the 100m semifinals.

NOTES:
-By virtue of their performances, Wilson-Perteete earned USTFCCCA First Team All-America honors in the 800m, while Hall garnered Second Team status twice over in the 100m and 200m.
-UNLV's 4x100m relay foursome of Nami Wilson, Kaysha Love, DeAndra Greer and Tianna Randle were Honorable Mention All-Americans after their 21st-place finish in the event's semis.
-As a team, UNLV tied Binghamton, Furman and Houston for 58th with two points.
