PEORIA, ARIZONA (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV women's golf team wrapped up the Westbrook Invitational Monday at the Westbrook Village Golf Club (par 72, 6,230) in Peoria, finishing the event in third place at 3-under 861. Freshman
Kendall Todd shot a final-round 71 to take second at 8-under (208), marking her second consecutive runner-up finish. The 8-under is a new career low for the Goodyear, Arizona native, while it is the ninth-best 54-hole score in program history. The reigning Mountain West Freshman of the Week sank 12 birdies and one eagle over the three rounds.
Despite shooting 4-over as a team Monday, the Rebels' 3-under final tally extends the streak of par or better tournament finishes to five straight, a program record. Prior to this year, UNLV had never finished at par or better in more than four tournaments in an entire season.
Behind Todd, fellow freshman
Sydney Bryan was the next highest Rebel on the leaderboard, finishing in a tie for 21st at 1-over (217). Senior
