BOULDER CITY (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV men's golf team saw three individuals compete Friday at South Dakota State's Jackrabbit Invitational at Boulder Creek Golf Club (par 72, 7,402 yards).
Senior
Jack Kozlowski was the top Rebel performer, shooting a 5-over 149 through 36 holes to sit tied for 17th headed into Saturday's final round. Sophomore
Ben Sawaia came in one shot behind Kozlowski at 6-over 150 in a tie for 23rd, while freshman
Tommy Kimmel is tied for 43rd at 9-over 153.
Chattanooga holds the team lead at 4-over 580, clinging to a three-shot lead over second-place Texas State. Chattanooga's Paul Conroy carded rounds of 67 and 70 for a 5-shot lead at 7-under to sit atop the individual leaderboard followed by Eastern Kentucky's Wills Gaer and Griffin Parker in a tie for second at 2-under 142.
UP NEXT: The final round of the Jackrabbit Invitational will begin at 7 a.m. PT Saturday morning with a shotgun start.
