TUCSON, Ariz. (UNLVRebels.com) —
Mia Trejo and
Janyssa Martin each hit three-run home runs to power UNLV to a 9-0 run rule of Yale Sunday.
Trejo plated

Sofia Morales hit a sacrifice fly to drive in
Lauryn Barker for UNLV's first two scores.
Janyssa Martin slugged a fly over the right-field wall in the top of the fourth to bring in
Denise Armendariz and
Mia Trejo.
"I think the team did a nice job coming out this morning ready to get the job done," UNLV head softball coach
Kristie Fox said.
Â
Jasmine Martin (W, 6-2) threw her second complete game shut out of the tournament, striking out eight of 19 batters faced while allowing just three hits and two walks.
"I've seen really bright spots from all three of our pitchers. This weekend it was Jas stepping up and Alanna (Thiede) having some really good innings for us.Â
"We just need to get all our of pitchers throwing well on the same weekend. We're very close."
