LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV track & field team will open their 2022 outdoor campaign at the 2022 Occidental Distance Carnival & Spring Break Classic Saturday, held at the Bill Henry Olympic Track on the campus of Occidental College. UNLV will be the lone Mountain West representatives for both competitions. 

The Occidental Classic gets underway at 9:30 a.m. with the women's discus throw, the first of 29 events scheduled for the day. The running events start at 10 a.m. with the women's 100m hurdles and will conclude at 9:45 p.m. with the women's 10000m.

LAST TIME OUT: The Rebels closed out their 2022 indoor season at the MW Indoor Championships Feb. 24-26. The Scarlet & Gray finished in ninth-place at the conference meet with two individuals placing in the top three of their respective events.
