LONG BEACH, Calif. (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV track & field team closed out their two meets in the Golden State, the Bryan Clay Invitational held at Cougar Stadium on the campus of Azusa Pacific in Azusa, and Long Beach Invitational held at Jack Rose Track on the campus of Long Beach State.

BRYAN CLAY INVITATIONAL APRIL 13-15
The W 1600m relay team placed sixth overall with a time of 3:46.87 with the help of Emma Wahlenmaier, Elisa Rovere, Alia Scott, Kennedi Porter, Keyona Burrell, Julia Nixon, Aja Melo-Powell and Rachel Seeley.

The W 400m relay team consisting of Melo-Powell, Scott, Porter, Esmeralda Tenorio and Burrell finished 11th with a time of 48.03.

Erin Thompson tied for fifth in the W high jump (Open), recording a 1.58m. Seeley finished eighth in the W heptathlon (Group C) (4271) with a season best 1.52m in high jump and a personal best of 25.94 in the 200m, followed by Julia Nixon who finished 15th (3655) with a personal best in W high jump (1.46m).
Wahlenmaier ran a personal best of 2:06.26 in the women's 800m run, finishing 25th overall, Elisa Rovere ran a 2:10.62, placing 60th. Natalia Ruiz Lara finished 46th in the W 1500m run (Open A) with a personal best, 4:34.53, while LaKyla Yazzie placed 25th in the W 1500m run (Open B) with a personal best of 4:48.01.

Other notable finishes for the Rebels include Yazzie finishing the W 3000m Steeplechase with a personal best of 11:20.79, followed by Mackenzie Moss Rebecca Green running a 2:21.54 in the 800m and Aaliyah Graves recorded a 5.05m in the W long jump.

LONG BEACH INVITATIONAL APRIL 15-16
The W 400m relay team consisting of Tenorio, Porter, Scott and Melo-Powell ran a season's best 47.31.

Wahlenmaier took fifth in the W 800m run (2:09.99), followed by Robere in 17th (2:12.40) and Green in 57th with a personal best of 2:20.07.

Porter finished fifth in the W 200m dash with a personal best of 24.02, followed by Melo-Powell in 50th with a season's best, 25.65. Ruiz Lara placed fifth in the W 1500 run (4:36.08) and Jasmine Perez who ran a personal best of 5:25.41.

Other notable finishes for the Rebels include Perez running a 2:33.83 in the W 800m run, Scott finishing the W 400m hurdles with a time of 1:04.49, Graves recorded a 10.84 in W triple jump and Moss recorded a personal best in W 1500m run with a 5:00.94
