LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – UNLV football will appear on national television at least seven times in 2022, as CBS Sports Network announced its slate of selections Thursday in conjunction with the Mountain West.
A record-tying seven Rebel dates were picked to be televised by CBSSN, including the season-opener vs. Idaho State at Allegiant Stadium that was moved up one week from the previous schedule and will kick off at 12:30 pm PT. Three other games were moved up one day to Fridays by CBSSN: at home vs. New Mexico on Sept. 30 at 8 p.m., on the road vs. San Jose State one week later at 7:30 p.m., and at home vs. Fresno State on Nov. 11 with a 7:30 p.m. start.
The other CBSSN Rebel games in 2022 are at Utah State on Sept. 24 at 4 p.m. PT and at home vs. Air Force on Oct. 15 with a 7:30 p.m. kickoff.
UNLV's game at Notre Dame on Oct. 22 was previously announced for an 11:30 a.m. PT start and the home game against North Texas on Sept. 17 has been set for a noon kickoff. Times and TV info for the remaining games will be announced in the coming weeks.
