FORT COLLINS, Colo. (UNLVRebels.com) — It's déjà vu for the Lady Rebels as No. 1 visits No. 2 in the Mountain West.
Some 40 hours removed from its first win at Wyoming in more than a decade, UNLV (18-2 overall, 8-0 Mountain West) crosses the border for a stop at Colorado State (13-5, 6-1) on Saturday afternoon.
The Lady Rebels defeated the Rams 91-88 in overtime in Las Vegas on Dec. 31. It was UNLV's third straight win against Colorado State, who have won five consecutive games since.
UNLV has won nine consecutive games and started Mountain West play 5-0 (now 8-0) for the first time in its history. UNLV's 18-2 record is its best start to a season in 33 years. Â The Lady Rebels most recently dispatched Wyoming, 71-57, for their first win in Laramie since 2011-12, ending a streak of eight consecutive losses.
