LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV men's tennis team swept a Saturday doubleheader by downing UC Riverside 4-0 at the Fertitta Tennis Complex.
 
The Rebels, who blanked New Mexico State by the same score in a morning meeting, improved to 2-1 while the Highlanders fell to 2-6 overall.
 
Maxim Verboven and Milos Dabic won their doubles match 6-3 after Jackson Atherton and Anton Ornberg won 6-2.
 
Aaron Bailey downed Matthew Yanuck, 6-1, 6-1, on court three in singles while Thomas Navarro defeated Aarav Sane, 6-0, 6-3, at No. 5, and Eduardo Cohen got by Ryan Huynh, 7-5, 6-0, on the sixth court.
 
UP NEXT: UNLV wraps up its busy opening weekend by hosting Weber State on Sunday starting with doubles at 10 a.m. Admission to all home matches is free of charge.
