LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The Lady Rebels will begin a three-game non-conference homestand on Friday, Nov. 10 as College of Charleston will come to town for UNLV's home opener. Tip-off is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. This will be the first meeting between the Lady Rebels and Cougars.

UNLV opened the 2023-24 season on the road with a 72-62 victory over Loyola Marymount on Monday. College of Charleston defeated Pfeiffer 117-30. The Lady Rebels are predicted to win the league title again in 2024. Senior

LAST TIME ON THE COURT: Opening the 2023-24 season on the road, the Lady Rebels defeated Loyola Marymount 72-62 at Gersten Pavilion on Monday. UNLV had three players in double figures and were led by
Desi-Rae Young with her 36th career double-double of 22 points and 16 rebounds, which was two shy of her career-high in rebounds.
Kiara Jackson drained 11 points and
Nneka Obiazor put up 10 points and was a perfect 4-for-4 from the free throw line. UNLV is now 3-1 in season openers under La Rocque.

SQUAD UP: UNLV returns nine of the 12 players from its 2023 championship squad including three starters and Mountain West Sixth Player of the Year,
Kiara Jackson and MVP of the Mountain West Championship,

Macie James, a forward from Oklahoma State. The Lady Rebels are predicted to top the league again in 2024.

ABOUT THE OPPONENT: College of Charleston opened the 2023-24 season Monday morning, defeating Pfeiffer 117-30. The Cougars were led by Jada Logan with 29 points, while Taryn Barbot drained 22 in her debut and Alexis Andrews put up 20. College of Charleston finished last season with an overall record of 11-18 and a 10th place finish in the Coastal Athletics Association. The Cougars are picked to finish fifth in their conference in this year's preseason poll.

LAST SEASON: The Lady Rebels are coming off another highly successful season that culminated with the second consecutive Mountain West Regular season title and Tournament title. UNLV received its second straight automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. The Lady Rebels had one of their best program records since the 1989-90 season, finishing the regular season with a 28-2 record.
