LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – UNLV women's tennis player Salsa Aher earned her second career Mountain West Player of the Week award, the league announced Wednesday.
 
The native of Pune, India, went a combined 4-0 last weekend to help UNLV stay undefeated this season at 8-0.
 
She won two singles matches in the middle of the lineup and teamed with Nina Zdravkovic for a pair of doubles wins on court three as the Rebels downed New Mexico State 7-0 on Friday and Idaho State 4-0 on Sunday.  
 
Aher, who also earned the honor on Feb. 9, 2022, is now 8-0 in singles in dual matches and 11-3 overall during her junior season.
 
UNLV is next in action on March 17 when it hosts Indiana with doubles play starting at 10 a.m. Admission to all matches is free of charge.
