LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV men's golf team will tee off in its first tournament of the fall in Scottsdale, Arizona, at the Mirabel Maui Jim Intercollegiate being hosted by Georgia State Friday-Sunday, Sept. 8-10, at Mirabel Golf Club (par 70, 7,118 yards).
THE FIELD: Joining the Rebels and the host Eagles in the tournament's 15-team field are Auburn, Colorado, Fresno State, Arkansas - Little Rock, Mercer, Missouri, New Mexico, Ohio State, Oregon, San Diego State, Santa Clara, SMU and Texas State.
UNLV LINEUP: Competing for the Rebels will be senior
Caden Fioroni, transfer
Trevor Lewis, senior
Yuki Moriyama, transfer
Wyatt Plattner and freshman
Hogan Park. Additionally, sophomore
Inigo Izuzquiza and freshman Philip Kench will be competing as individuals.
SCHEDULE: Following Thursday's practice round, 18 holes will be played each day, with tee times beginning at 8 a.m. The individual competition will begin with 18 holes on Friday, followed by 36 holes on Saturday at the Legend Trail course.
