LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The No. 25 UNLV women's basketball team will head back to Colorado to visit Air Force on Saturday, Jan. 13. The Lady Rebels head into the weekend ranked No. 25 in the AP and USA Today Coaches polls and look for their 28th straight win over conference opponents.

ABOUT THE OPPONENT: UNLV is 49-5 all-time versus Air Force and have won 21 straight games against the Falcons. Air Force currently has a 9-8 overall record and is 2-2 in Mountain West play. The Falcons are coming off a 75-71 win over Nevada on Wednesday night, where Air Force had a sizable lead after the first half and held onto the win as the Wolfpack tried to make a comeback. The Falcons are led by Milahnie Perry who is averaging 15.6 points per game and Madison Smith who is averaging 11.5 points per game. Jayda McNabb leads Air Force in rebounds with 5.9 per game.

Kiara Jackson leads UNLV in assists per game (5.4) and is the second-leading scorer averaging 12.5 points per game.
Alyssa Durazo-Frescas is the third leading scorer on the squad, averaging 9.9 points and
Alyssa Brown is the second leading rebounder, bringing down 8.4 boards per game, respectively.

LAST TIME ON THE COURT: For the second straight game, five different Lady Rebels were in double figures as the No. 25 UNLV women's basketball team dominated 91-55 over San Jose State on Wednesday night at the Cox Pavilion. The Lady Rebels have now won 27 straight over Mountain West foes and remain undefeated over the Spartans under head coach
Lindy La Rocque (5-0).
Desi-Rae Young led the Lady Rebels with 24 points by shooting 11-for-13 from the field and was 2-for-4 from the free throw line. Young also tied her career-high in steals with four and her season-high in assists with four.
Kiara Jackson was the second leading scorer on the squad with 14 points.
Alyssa Brown was dominant under the basket and led UNLV in rebounds with 14 (three offensive and 11 defensive).

LADY REBELS TOP-25: The Lady Rebels are back in the Top-25 in Week 10 of the Associated Press Top 25 and USA Today Coaches' poll at No. 25 in both polls. UNLV first saw the top-25 in Week 6 of the season ranking at No. 23 in the AP poll and No. 24 in the USA Today poll. The Lady Rebels fell out of the rankings in Week 7, but continued to receive votes. Coming into the season, UNLV received votes in both USA Today Coaches' and Associated Press Top 25 Preseason Polls.
