LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – Host UNLV women's tennis standout Coco Zhao will play in finals in both singles and doubles after advancing during Saturday's second day at the elite Freeman Memorial Championships being held at the Fertitta Tennis Complex.
 
The 21st annual event features individual competitors from four teams ranked in the top 20 in the season's initial ITA rankings -- No. 6 Oklahoma State, No. 8 Pepperdine, No. 10 Florida and NO. 16 UCLA – along with the host Rebels.
 
Zhao advanced to the final of the Venetian Draw in singles when her opponent withdrew. In doubles, Zhao and partner Cindy Hu moved into the final of the Caesars draw by downing Kristina Novak and Safiya Carrington of Oklahoma State, 6-4.
 
Sunday's action begins at 10 a.m. with a final round of doubles, followed by a final round of singles. Admission to all matches is free of charge.
