Rebels Boost Signing Class With Defender Addition

California native Leilani Ngo-Harris will join UNLV in the fall

LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV women's soccer program has received a signed commitment from defender Leilani Ngo-Harris for the fall 2024 season, head coach Jenny Ruiz-Williams announced Tuesday.

Hailing from Los Alamitos, California, Ngo-Harris will be finishing her senior season at Los Alamitos High School this winter. She has helped the Griffins reach the CIF Division I State Playoffs each of the past three seasons, including a championship game berth in 2023. During that span, Ngo-Harris earned Second Team All-Sunset League honors in 2022 as part of guiding LAHS to three consecutive league titles. With her club team, Slammers FC HB Køge, she has claimed five ECNL Southwest Conference Championships, two Far West Region titles and four Cal South ODP selections. She plans to major in psychology.

Ngo-Harris joins a nine-member 2024 signing class that features two other two Californians in Felicity Garcia and Tori Martinez. The group of incoming players also includes a trio of local signees – Summer Pyles, Makena Siaki and Emma Rietz – Hawai'i native Jael Kapua'ala, Elesha Magley from Utah and Alyse Then from New York.
